Abstract.
The emergence of global information accessibility determines the requirements for a set of information and communication network components: elements that physically ensure the operation of control centers, software tools, and technologies for ensuring the collection, storage, and transmission of information. Communication and communication, processor power and data processing speed determine the level and dynamics of modern companies' development. The article presents a part of the study aimed at creating favorable conditions for the functioning of domestic manufacturers of information and communication infrastructure components in terms of the equal profitability of the production of domestic components (their cost structure) and imports. Through the construction of regression equations, the dependence of the revenue of foreign companies, manufacturers of infrastructure elements on the level of the import customs duty rate is reflected. The calculated level of the average weighted rate of import customs duty for individual commodity items is determined in accordance with the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity using linear and polynomial models. The tightness of the relationship between the selected factors is determined. The presented study is the author's approach to justifying the rates of import customs duties using econometric models.
