Abstract.
Import-advancement is a key area of economic development in the Russian Federation, particularly relevant in the context of sanctions and geopolitical instability. Financing import-advancement projects is becoming an important tool for enhancing the competitiveness of domestic producers and reducing dependence on foreign supplies of goods and technologies. However, implementing an effective financial strategy requires considering multiple factors and addressing a number of complex issues. The relevance of this study stems from the need to identify the most effective mechanisms for financing and stimulating domestic production, thereby strengthening the national economy and increasing the state's level of technological independence. This article examines the financial instruments used to support import substitution and import-advancement, identifies barriers and constraints encountered in implementing the relevant measures, and identifies promising areas for further improvement of the financing system for these processes. Significant interest in crowdfunding platforms from the government, the professional investment community, unqualified investors, and entrepreneurial entities has sharply increased as a mechanism for activating alternative sources of financing for innovative projects. To expand this segment of the financial market and increase its attractiveness to investors, the government will need to systematically strengthen the regulatory framework and ensure the effective application of international experience.
